Growing Places

This is an exciting time to be part of the workspace revolution, with many of our growth plans now coming to fruition. 

We started 2018 with circa 2200sqm of space under management across levels 21 & 24 at Allendale Square and level 14 at 197 St Georges Terrace.

In April we added a 1200sqm Training & Conference Centre on the ground floor at 197 St Georges Terrace. The facility is a purpose built, state-of-the-art training, seminar and events space. With 9 purpose-built rooms that can be reconfigured to deliver a myriad of layouts and can accommodate up to 200 people in one room. This facility perfectly complements our serviced office and meeting room facilities on Level 14 in the building and our expertise in event management.

Next month we will add two more locations to our portfolio with a further 1548sqm of office, meeting and co-working space:

Level 13 of 37 St Georges Terrace will be a boutique private serviced office workspace that will add a further 60 workstations and two meeting rooms to our CBD inventory.  

The landmark building occupies a prominent position on the corner of St Georges Terrace and Barrack Street in the centre of Perth CBD. The space provides panoramic views to the east and south of the Swan River, Elizabeth Quay, Stirling Gardens, The Treasury Buildings, City of Perth Council House and the Supreme Court and Gardens.

Level 1 of 53 Burswood Road will provide a range of private offices, co-working and presentation space across a further 1100sqm and will be our first location outside the CBD. 

53 Burswood Road occupies a prominent position on the corner of Burswood Road and Craig Street which is less than 400 metres from the intersection of Canning Highway, The Causeway, Albany Highway and Shepperton Road. It is a short walk to Victoria Park bus station which provides easy access to Perth CBD.
This convenient location is at the centre of everything! The CBD is 5 minutes by car or bus, Perth International & Domestic Airport is 9km away and is serviced by a shuttle bus every 30 minutes. Optus Stadium and the Crown Resort & Casino complex are only 5 minutes away and access to Canning Highway provides a direct route to Fremantle and the Freeway.

Operating circa 5000sqm of space means we will have more than doubled in size in 6 months. With this growth comes an opportunity to grow our people both in terms of responsibilities and numbers. 

Growing People

Our imminent growth has provided us with an opportunity to review our team structure and how we operate as a business. Our ‘space & service’ offer is built on our Liberators setting the standard in service. We have given careful consideration to our service standards, administrative processes and the demands of each location as part of our review. So, we are improving the way we organise ourselves in such a way that we aim to enhance the overall client experience.

As part of this review we are delivering on our promise to invest in our people and promote from within wherever possible. A summary of the changes are below:

Svetlana Prikhodko has been with the business for the last 2.5 years and has recently passed her CPA and has an MBA in business administration. 
We are delighted to announce that Svetlana has been promoted to Finance Director.

Hannah Byrne was recently promoted to Trainee Manager for Allendale Square and as a result of her success is being promoted to General Manager of the Allendale Square and 37 St Georges Terrace ‘cluster’. Hannah has been with the business for 2.5 years and has worked her way from a Junior role to Trainee Manager to General Manager in that time. 

In July we welcome Natasha Vine to the business. Natasha brings a wealth of industry experience having spent 6 years in the serviced office sector in the UK. She worked as an Operations Manager in the West End of London for a number of years before working with Paul Miller in Soho, where she consistently achieved a top 3 position in a companywide sale league of over 50 sales people. Natasha has joined the business as General Manager for the 197 St Georges Terrace and 53 Burswood Road cluster.

Charlotte-Anne Laurence has been promoted from Junior Client Service Representative to Finance Operations Manager. Her role will be to support Maddy, Svetlana, Hannah and Natasha in all things finance at an operations level. Charlotte joined the business in January 2018 and has proven to be a very reliable and highly intelligent member of the team. She is also mid-way through her Bachelor of Commerce with double major in accounting and finance. The creation of this role allows for our General Managers to spend more time in front of clients, managing our standards and service delivery.

Jessica Twomey is being given the responsibility of assisting Hannah to launch and run 37 St Georges Terrace. Jess joined the business in March 2018 from a customer service call centre background. She has an incredible work ethic and an ‘eye’ for visual standards – she never stops cleaning! 

Marcella Leite joined the business in June 2018 and she is taking on a versatile role which will see her working between 37, 197 & Burswood as the needs of the business dictate. Her retail background has provided her with many transferable skills and she is really starting to settle into her role. 

We will also be welcoming two new Junior Client Service Representatives both of whom will work at Allendale Square initially. 

Shaundra Kavanagh will join the business on Monday 23rd July. Shaundra has valuable administration and retail experience.

Tiarna Osborne will join the business on Monday 30th July 2018. Tiarna comes from a sales and administration role at a new home builder. 

We still have one more vacancy and Maddy is continuing her interview and selection process, we will make an announcement as soon as we have found our next Liberator.
