With over 25 years’ working in the technology industry, Julian brings a depth of experience that is second to none. He has previously worked at a senior levels within the IT departments of some of the world’s largest companies including Nestle, Unilever, IBM, Morgan Stanley, HBOS, Barclays Capital and Commonwealth Bank/Bankwest.

During this time he has acquired an extensive range of skills in Application, Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture, System Engineering, Hardware and Software Support and IT Leadership.

It has been said that he possesses that rare skill of making the complex sound simple.

He is a results driven professional who works tirelessly to provide high quality, seamless solutions for the modern IT landscape.

What makes you laugh?

Apart from the hilarious banter in the office (you know who I’m talking about Milsner/Jamie).. I like the old classics like Only Fools and Horses and a bit of stand up.. Peter Kay is a legend!!

Little known fact about you?

I used to be a nightclub DJ and I am an NLP Practitioner

What you love about Liberty/your job?

I just love the team vibe… I say team but it’s more like a family!!

What did you last do for a customer that went the extra mile?

To make sure our service delivery appears seamless I work tirelessly behind the scenes keeping our network up to date. I often need to work through the night so that my updates do not affect our clients and I regularly attend site at very short notice to help clients with their own IT configuration and systems

Favourite Band?

So many to choose from… KLF, Prodigy, Skrillex, Pendulum, Astral Projection to name a few.

If you were an animal what would you be and why?

Probably a bird of prey.. A peregrine falcon perhaps.. fast, graceful and ‘I can fly’.

Favourite place you have visited anywhere in the world?

I’ve holidayed in a few countries however the standout has to be Australia… I loved it so much I ‘bought the company’/relocated here nearly 14 years ago.

Favourite Food?

I love spicy Asian cuisine.. and a good old ‘English’ Indian curry..

Have you met anyone famous?

I’ve met a few famous people… Richard Branson, Mark Bouris and Tony Robbins… I’ve partied with the Prodigy and Neneh Cherry in Ibiza..

I’ve DJ’d with Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim)… I had a band with the twins Connie and Cassie from Hollyoaks… Used to work with trip hop artist Glideascope (IT not music)…

The band TopLoader are friends from school.. My mate was married to Gail Porter and I bumped into Simon Pegg at Dubai airport, which was nice.. Spent the afternoon with him and his missus..

Oh and my Dad is friends with Sir Cliff Richard.
